vanadiumStack – Made in Germany

With our latest stack generation, we are setting new benchmarks for industrial flow battery technology made in Germany. Its modular design enables flexible configurations ranging from 20 to 50 cells and power output of up to 7.5 kW, making it ideal for a wide variety of applications and project sizes.

Our vanadiumSTACKS are developed and manufactured in Germany. We combine industrial-scale series production with uncompromising quality standards. Thanks to scalable manufacturing processes, high production volumes and reliable delivery schedules, we are able to support projects of any size with confidence and predictability.

For our customers, this means a trusted partner reduces technological and financial risks throughout every project phase. We continuously advance our technology, and our latest stack generation is now in full series production.

Quality begins with the materials we use. Membrans, felts and other key components undergo rigorous testing before entering production. Through our in-house graphite bi-polar plates development and manufacturing, we ensure outstanding performance and consistent quality of our core components.

Every stack undergoes automated end-of-line testing to guarantee maximum reliability and consistent product quality. The result is a powerful, durable and safe energy storage solution designed to meet the demands of today and tomorrow.

stackPack

Our stackPACK is variable in number of cells and stacks to achieve defined power and voltage targets for your system.

It can be scaled up to 2,5 MW in a 40 foot container.

organicSTACK

The organicSTACK is designed for the use of organic electrolytes and offers maximum flexibilty for the industrial deployment of next-generation flow battery technologies.

Its modular architecture enables the evaluation, testing and optimization of different membranes to meet specific application requirements. To support development and validation processes, we provide a selection of suitable membranes from our portfolio, helping customers identify the optimal combination of electrolyte, membrane and system performance.

The organicSTACK accelerates the advancement of organic flow batteries by providing a flexible, scalable and adaptable platform for a wide range of applications and operating conditions.

smartSTACK

The smartSTACK from Volterion takes stack technology to the next level. By seamlessly integrating intelligent sensors and advanced electronic monitoring, it continously optimizes efficiency, operational safety and system availability.

Real-time acquisition and analysis of critical operating data provide precise insights into system health and enable data-driven performance optimization. Potentially critical operating conditions, such as overheating, overloads or component malfunctions are detected at an early stage, ensuring reliable protection of the system, its components and the surrounding environment.

With the smartSTACK, we create the foundation for safe, transpartent and high-performance energy storage systems designed to meet the demands of the next generation of flow-batteries.
